Aylacostoma chloroticum is a species of freshwater snail, aquatic gastropod mollusc in the family Thiaridae. This species is extinct in the wild and it was found in Argentina and Paraguay. The cause of its extinction in the wild is the building of the Yacyretá Dam on the Paraná River[1]
